Every donation goes toward food for families connected to our partner elementary schools in Richmond, Vancouver and Burnaby. Food is sourced through retail purchases, discounts and donated food. Save-On-Foods assembles the packages at its stores, and families collect them and cook at home. The team is volunteer-run, and payment processing fees are covered separately so your donation goes toward food.

Families going through tough times who are connected to our partner schools. The schools know their families best, and they help us reach the ones who need a little extra care at Christmas, privately and with dignity.

A frozen turkey plus the fresh ingredients and accompanying items to prepare a warm, complete Christmas dinner for four. Families collect the ingredients from a participating Save-On-Foods and cook the meal themselves at home. It is not a hot or ready-to-eat meal.

Yes. Payments are processed by PayPal, a globally trusted payment provider. Card details are entered on PayPal's secure checkout and are never stored on our site.

Receipts are issued manually by our team, usually within a few days. If you need it urgently, email info@giveaturkey.ca and we'll prioritize it.

Absolutely. Choose "Business" during checkout and add your business name and CRA business number so we can issue the receipt correctly.
